John McKee
In memory of
John McKee, who departed
this life Dec. 14, 1834.
Aged 91 yrs.Emigrated to this, his adopted country, in the year A. D. 1765, was with the destroying of the tea at Boston and the Declaration of Independence. Served two tours in the Revolutionary War; took his share in the glorious struggle of gaining our independence.

John McKee
John McKee was part of this country’s fight for independence and was featured in a Memorial Day story in the News Tribune, Beaver Falls, on May 28, 1955. The photo was taken for the newspaper by Paul R. Schell. The picture to the left was taken on May 18, 2024. His tombstone tells his story.
